The fifth consecutive \"Warmer Mai\" Festival will be held in Zurich from 2 to 31 May 2004. The idea behind the Festival is to encourage the public at large to see, hear and experience the wide diversity of cultural work by gays and lesbians.

\"Warmer Mai\" dates back to the run-up to the EuroGames 2000, when a group of artists put together a remarkable cultural program, which attracted praise and recognition far beyond the gay-lesbian scene. This success prompted the foundation of the \"Warmer Mai\" Association, whose members are dedicated to continuing this cultural commitment.
