The Holland Festival was established in 1947 and presents innovative top performances in the field of performing arts, music, theater and dance. Well-known productions and theatre makers as well as unknown and provocative productions are put in the spotlight. Some productions are sensational and appeal to a broad public. Others are only appreciated by connoisseurs.
SPEAKER ON OPENING
The former Dutch Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers will open the Holland Festival. The evening will continue with an interview with refugees and the production "The Children of Herakles". Afterwards, a film or documentary will be screened, focusing on refugees and exile. These productions can also be seen on 5, 6 (matinee), 8 and 9 June and vary every evening.
PERFORMANCES
