In June, Portugal is rolling! In addition to the European 2004 football championships, Lisbon is playing host to yet another Super Bock, Super Rock Festival. And this year is particularly big - with the tenth anniversary of this annual event bringing some of the world's biggest names in rock and roll to the Tagus Park between June 9th and 11th.
The Festival is taking place in the former Expo site of Park of Nations, to the north of the Vasco da Gama Tower. The 300,000 m2 site is open to 50,000 people per day and the two stages - the Super Bock Stage and the Quinta dos Portugueses Stage - are putting on three days of quality entertainment and music. Tickets cost 38 Euros per day or 75 Euros for a three-day pass including camping facilities. The very best way to make the most of this great Rock festival.
Already confirmed for the Super Bock Stage are Linkin Park, Korn and Muse on June 9th, N.E.R.D., Nelly Furtado and Avril Lavigne on the 10th, and it is Fatboy Slim, Massive Attack with Lenny Kravitz and The Pixies playing on June 11th. Over on the Quinta dos Portugueses stage the headlining acts are Blasted Mechanism, Da Weasel (9th), David Fonseca (10th) and Clã ¨11th).
