WaterkAnt is all about lively, authentic sports events by the water during the weekends of 9/10 and 16/17 October. During the first weekend visitors will be able to sample the following program in the Willem Dock: Open Piers, an exhibition of 35 new yachts; the Water Sports Club Cup, a sailing regatta of Finn Class boats; the Woodies, the shiny and noisy old timers of motor sports.

For maximum atmosphere visit WanterkAnt Classic, which will unite a fleet of traditional wooden and iron boats at the Steen from where they will sail towards the oldest docks of Antwerp. On Sunday everybody can take part in the third Antwerp Rowing Regatta. The second weekend is just as much fun with: the 17th Antwerp Race, the grand cru race for sailing amateurs in the Low Countries. The Provant Cup will be organized on Sunday, featuring demonstration races in which young sailors who still have to find their sea legs can take part. In short: a lot of atmosphere, a lot of music, a lot of unsinkable fun and a healthy dose of water sports.
