Delicious Danish food New Internet video channel whets the appetite for Denmark
When it comes to beloved national dishes Denmark certainly has its share. Now, with its new Internet video channel, "Who Doesn’t Like a Danish?,” the Danish Tourist Board provides a mouth-watering look at the flavors of Denmark.

Four famous Danes – actress Connie Nielsen, NFL kicker Morten Andersen, and top models Malena Belafonte and Lykke May Andersen – discuss the Danish foods they love best…the dishes that truly say “Denmark.”

For Lykke May, it’s the taste of fresh strawberries with cream on a brilliant Danish summer day. For Connie, it’s delicious, fresh gravad laks and, of course, “Danish” pastry (we call it Weinerbrød). Malena loves the taste of flæskesteg (Danish roast pork) and a warm cup of gløgg (hot spiced wine) on a cold December night. Morten craves open-faced smørrebrød sandwiches and pickled herring.

If the thought of all that delicious Danish food makes you hungry, don’t worry. “Who Doesn’t Like a Danish?” also presents a dozen recipes to try at home. Among them:

· Pork with Apples
· Raspberry Dream Cake
· Fried Potatoes (Brasede Kartofler)
· Pickled Herring
· Cured Salmon

And Christmas favorites such as:

· Real Danish Gløgg
· Christmas Cookies
· Ris a L’amande (Rice Pudding) with Warm Cherry Sauce
