The world's largest dog show takes place in Birmingham next spring, and thanks to the recent relaxation in restrictions involving travelling abroad with dogs, the organisers are expecting to see more entrants from overseas than ever before.
"Crufts", organised by the Kennel Club at the National Exhibition Centre (March 10-13) will see 24,000 dogs from around the world vying for the coveted Best in Show title. The cream of almost 200 breeds will be hoping to succeed the 2004 champion, a Whippet called Deedee.
There are 400 trade stands offering everything that you and your canine could possibly wish for, with special show discounts available. Tickets, tel: 0870 902 8849.
