Photographs of Londoners at Work, icons from Turkic culture and £500 million-worth of antiques are among the sights to see in London this spring. Londoners at Work is an exhibition of photographs capturing over 100 years of working life in London.

The Royal Academy of Arts is hosting an exhibition exploring the cultural and artistic influence of the Turks. Turks: A Journey of a Thousand Years, 600-1600 AD (Jan. 22- April 12) displays works including textiles, ceramics and manuscripts many of which have never before been exhibited outside Turkey. Also this spring, the Royal Academy of Arts will celebrate the 20th anniversary of The London Original Print Fair where original prints by leading artists are for sale (April 20-24). The Chaworth Roll, a 700 year-old manuscript history of the Kings of England will be exhibited by Sam Fogg (15d Clifford St, W1) from March 3-24. Made in the 1320s, it traces the royal succession from Egbert 'the first king of all England’ (829-839) to Henry IV (1399-1413). Over £500 million worth of art and antiques will be for sale by the world’s leading dealers at the Grosvenor House Art and Antiques Fair (June 15-22, Grosvenor House Hotel, W1).
