The Metropolitan Museum of ArtThe Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York will present a special treat for art lovers with the first major retrospective in the U.S. devoted to the drawings of the great Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens. The exhibition will bring together 115 of the finest and most representative drawings from European and American public and private collections.

This show will be a comprehensive examination of drawings by the preeminent painter of the seventeenth-century Flemish School, and one of the greatest painters and craftsmen of all time.

The exhibition is open every Friday and Saturday from 9:30a.m. to 9p.m. and on Sunday, Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located at Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street, New York.
