A 35-metre high indoor waterfall is the focal point of Britain's largest casino, opening in Coventry in the Heart of England on July 6. Twice the size of London's new Empire Casino which opened in late May, the 100,000 square-foot Isle Casino Coventry includes five bars, a live performance stage and three restaurants in an “exotic tropical themed environment”.

All the usual casino table games are played, from roulette and blackjack to craps. There are 30 slot machines and 50 touch bet roulette stations. There is a 12 table poker room hosting tournaments four times a week and, for more experienced players, a Salon Prive and a VIP club which has its own restaurant. The two other restaurants are Farradays, serving steaks, ribs and seafood, and Tradewinds Marketplace which serves international cuisine and light snacks. Bar 87 boasts 20 large plasma screens and will show the most popular sporting events.

Entry is to over 18 year-olds and photo-identification is required to complete a free membership registration. Website: www.theislecoventry.com.
