Celtic Film Festival in Wales

As the largest production centre in the UK outside London, home to over 150 film, television and new media production companies and with plans to develop new studios, Cardiff is an appropriate choice to host the 26th Celtic Film and Television Festival this year (April 6-9).

Retro Fashion at the V&A

From 24 February to 8 May, the V&A will host a different fashion exhibition, Spectres: When Fashion Turns Back, bringing together beautiful historic costumes by designers such as Christian Dior and Elsa Schiaparelli and clothes by today's designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Martin Margiela.

Crossword Weekend at Somerset Castle

A new guide to Britain's waterways will help visitors get the most of its 2,000-mile network of canals, lakes and navigable rivers - both on and alongside the water. The brochure, "Enjoy Britain's Waterscape" has been produced by Waterscape.com and is available free from VisitBritain's offices overseas.

Just opened at London's Jewish Museum in Finchley, Connections - Hidden British Histories is a new exhibition documenting the relationships, connections and shared experiences of Britain's Asian, Black and Jewish communities.
