London's 2012 bid organisers have released plans for the next generation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The city is one of the five candidates to hold the 2012 games: the decision as to which city will do so will be announced by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in July.

From 24 February to 8 May, the V&A will host a different fashion exhibition, Spectres: When Fashion Turns Back, bringing together beautiful historic costumes by designers such as Christian Dior and Elsa Schiaparelli and clothes by today's designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Martin Margiela.
