Lowlands Festival, Netherlands

Every year the three-day Lowlands pop festival brings around 60,000 people to the Six Flags amusement park in the expansive lowlands of Flevopolder, within easy reach of all the major Dutch cities. Highlights of the line-up for 2004 include The Hives, The Chemical Brothers, The Darkness, Faithless and Groove Armada.

pAn Amsterdam has developed itself into the largest national Art and Antique Fair of Holland. Heineken Dance Parade

With 40 participants, this year will be the largest FFWD Heineken Dance Parade in history. Among the participants you will find the very best of the Dutch dance scene, such as party organizers ID&T (sensation) and UDC (Dance Valley) as well as international top DJ’s such as Dave Clarke, Kevin Saunderson, Paul Johnson, Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen and Michel de Heij.

Canal Festival 2004, Amsterdam

Once a year, Amsterdam's historic city center is transformed into Holland's most beautiful concert hall. At some 20 unique indoor and outdoor locations, national and international top musicians and new talent perform over 70 concerts. On pontoons in the canals, in secluded courtyards and historic period rooms of monumental canal houses, even in local residents' living rooms and roof gardens.

On Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of July, the Netherlands Congress Centre in The Hague will once again open its doors to the 29th edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival. Traditionally this is one of the highlights of the European cultural season, the first edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival, took place in 1976.

The 14th edition of the International Sand Sculpture Festival Scheveningen will be held from Sunday May 16 through Sunday June 6. On May 16 international sand sculpture artists will start work on their sculptures.
